Meet the Designers
Alma Jimenez Lopez
CompartidoAlma Jimenez Lopez is a Mexican-American artist and designer whose work explores material, memory, and cultural continuity through ceramics, textiles, and spatial design. With roots in Comonfort, Guanajuato, Mexico, and raised in Texas, her practice is informed by inherited traditions of making, early exposure to weaving through her grandfather, and the lived experience of cultural duality. Bringing over 16 years of experience across ceramics, interiors, and product development, Lopez extends her ceramic-based inquiry into textiles through Compartido, her collection with Nomadory. Inspired by communal rituals, shared joy, and the everyday care systems within first-generation families, the rugs translate memories of conchas and candy into tactile, hand-crafted surfaces—designed to be lived on, gathered around, and experienced together.

Anand Sheth
Right of WayAnand Sheth is an architect and curator who approaches design and interiors from a distinctly artful point of view, with studios in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City. Extending his architectural and curatorial practice, his rugs are designed as intentional surfaces that contribute texture, rhythm, and spatial grounding to an interior. Right of Way is Nomadory’s inaugural designer collection and Sheth’s first rug collection with the brand. Inspired by sidewalks, stairways, and civic infrastructure in San Francisco—along with historic precedents such as stepwells and temples—the hand-tufted wool rugs translate the rhythms of pedestrian life into subtle geometries. Designed for both residential and commercial settings, the collection includes area rugs and runners that feel tactile, grounded, and quietly architectural.
